Ron Gaskins is the Vice-President of Population Health Management at ECU Health. Ron’s role is to provide administrative leadership and direction for population health efforts across the health system. In addition to this role Ron serves as President of both ECU Health Alliance, which is a clinically integrated network across Eastern North Carolina, and Coastal Plains Network, a Medicare Shared Savings Program designed to reduce costs and improve quality for Medicare fee-for-serve beneficiaries.
Ron was a 2011-13 alumni of the “Jim Bernstein Community Health Leadership Fellowship” program, where his final project consisted of creating a postpartum visit toolkit focused on social and continuity of care issues. Ron was also the inaugural “Distinguished Fellow Award Recipient” in 2015 for the Jim Bernstein Community Health Leadership Fellowship Program.
He was the 2012 recipient of the “40 Leaders Under Forty Award” from the Triad Business Journal as well as a 2013 graduate of “Leadership Winston Salem”. Ron has achieved the designation of being board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ron is married to his wife Alexandra and has four young sons; Noah, Luke, Jacob and Benjamin.
