Admissions
Admissions to the MPH program are accepted for both Fall and Spring semesters. Most students will be admitted to begin in fall semester, however, students may also begin their coursework in the spring.
Application Deadlines
Deadlines for submission of applications are April 15 for Fall semester and October 15 for Spring semester. Prospective students are encouraged to apply earlier.
How to Apply
For MPH admissions consideration, a two-step application submission process is required. (1) Applicants must first apply through SOPHAS. Upon submission of your SOPHAS application, you will receive a unique applicant ID. (2) The provided SOPHAS ID is required to begin, and subsequently submit, an additional application through the ECU Graduate School.
All applicants to the program should submit the following to SOPHAS:
- Application and fees
- Transcripts
- Letter of intent (essay)
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae
- 3 letters of recommendation from an academic advisor, professor, and/or supervisor (non-relatives)
