Dr. Kavita Mosalpuria is an Assistant Professor in Department of Public Health at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Her research is focused on identifying social, biological, and commercial determinants of health disparities and reduce inequities through tailored holistic interventions. She is a researcher and educator. She practiced medicine and worked as a hospital administrator in India. For five years, she worked as Surveillance Medical Officer in the National Polio Surveillance Project, a collaboration of Government of India and World Health Organization to eliminate Polio and improve vaccination in India.
