Estimating personal exposure in the workplace

Dr. Sousan co-authored an article “Estimating personal exposures from a multi-hazard sensor network” that was published in the Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology. Dr. Sousan and co-authors estimated personal exposure to different hazards using low-cost sensors by relating the position of the worker with the intensity of the exposure at the position of interest at any time. The exposures of interest were particulate matter, carbon monoxide, ozone, and noise generated inside a welding facility.
