Prospective students are encouraged to apply earlier.
How to Apply
For MPH or DrPH admissions consideration, a two-step application submission process is required.
(1) Applicants must first apply through SOPHAS. Upon submission of your SOPHAS application, you will receive a unique applicant ID.
All applicants to the program should submit the following to SOPHAS:
- Application and fees
- Transcripts
- Letter of intent (essay)
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae
- 3 letters of recommendation from an academic advisor, professor, and/or supervisor (non-relatives)
(2) The provided SOPHAS ID is required to begin, and subsequently submit, an additional application through the ECU Graduate School.
All applicants to the program should submit the following to the Graduate School:
- Application and fees
Readmission and Reapplication Policy
- All applicants must reapply through the ECU Graduate School.
- Applicants who were previously denied admission, admitted but did not enroll, or enrolled and have been away for three years or more must submit a new SOPHAS application for consideration.
- Students who were previously enrolled and have been away for less than three years may be processed for readmission without submitting a new SOPHAS application.
