Information for Current Students

The ECU MPH program is grounded in practice-based teaching, competency-based learning, and evidence-based principles. One of our key focus areas is to serve rural communities by training the public health workforce. The ECU MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).

The 42-semester hour (SH) MPH program is fully online. Key components of the MPH curriculum are described.

Program Application

Application deadlines are April 15 to matriculate in following fall semester and October 15 to matriculate in following spring semester. We are unable to consider international applicants at this time.

Applications are submitted through a national central application portal, SOPHAS. The ECU Graduate School application is also submitted.
